Black Film Faced Plywood is an engineered construction board designed to perform under demanding conditions.
It features a waterproof phenolic coating on both sides that protects the wood core from moisture, abrasion, and chemical exposure.
The panel offers excellent strength, stability, and reusability, making it ideal for formwork systems, flooring, and transport platforms.

1. Material Composition

The core is made from high-quality poplar, eucalyptus, birch, or mixed hardwood veneers.
Each layer is bonded under heat and pressure using WBP phenolic or melamine adhesives to form a dense and stable structure.
This process enhances load-bearing capacity and prevents warping even in variable outdoor conditions.

2. Surface Coating

Both sides of the plywood are covered with a durable black phenolic film available in smooth or anti-slip textures.
The film acts as a barrier against water and concrete adhesion, ensuring clean, smooth casting surfaces and easy release after use.
Anti-slip patterns are ideal for flooring and transport applications where safety and grip are critical.
